  • Class cancellation

    Emily understands that sometimes life happens so if you are unable to attend your booked workshop or one off lesson you can transfer your spot to a friend or family member. Please email Emily as soon as possible with the details of the person coming in your place here. This option is available for workshops and one off lessons only.

    • Students can reschedule the commencement date of a booked four week 1:1 course up to one time and it must be rescheduled for the same weekday and time as the original offering.

    • Students undertaking a four week 1:1 course can reschedule a missed session up to one time. No additional makeup sessions will be offered for two or more missed sessions.

    • Cancelling before one week of your workshop, one off lesson or four week 1:1 course is 100% refund less 15% administration fee.

    • Cancelling within one week of session date is a 50% refund.

    • Cancelling within 24 hours of session date no refund is given

    In the event that Emily has to cancel a class last minute, she will contact you to reschedule your booking to a date that best suits.

    In the event of a natural disaster or other such emergency, you will be contacted to either reschedule or will be issued a full refund.

    If you have completed a four week course and would like to continue on at the same day and time each week, payment must be made before the commencement of the next four week block. Current students can secure their place by paying for their next four week block here.

  • Where is your studio?

    I work and teach out of my home studio in Lilydale, Victoria.

    I don’t see a date that works for me. Can I book a different date?

    You can definitely request an alternative date with me if there are no dates that fit in with your schedule. I will do my best to accommodate your request.

    Skill level

    You don’t need to have any experience to join any of Emily’s learning offerings. Emily can assist complete beginners to intermediate students. You might just want to try it once, expand your skills or get guidance with a project you’re working on. If you are unsure whether the offering you’re looking at will suit your level get in touch for a chat!

    If you complete a four week course can you continue classes?

    Yes of course! I’d love to have you as an ongoing student :)

    Do you offer classes for kids?

    At this stage I am only offering classes to students over 18yrs of age.

    Do you offer casual studio time?

    At this stage that is not an option. Students must book in their classes ahead of time.

    Do you do group wheel classes?

    As I currently have one wheel, I can only offer one-on-one wheel throwing lessons at this time.

    One Saturday per month I open my studio for you to come and try the wheel with no obligation. More info here.

    • Messy Clay Day - 1hr learn the wheel sessions held once a month

    • 1:1 Four Week Learn The Wheel course

    • Pick My Brain - 30min zoom trouble shooting session

  • I am open to doing private group bookings in my studio for up to 4 hand builders and one wheel thrower.

    Open to corporate team building, hens parties, morning tea events and more.
