Hand built from Australian stoneware, these miniature chair sculptures tug on your curiosity and invite you in close. Their scale is altered to render their primary function as a piece of furniture obsolete, allowing space to celebrate its form. Ceramic artist Emily Brookfield explores the attachments we place on objects, what makes them valuable to us and why. These nostalgia driven pieces are made by hand in Emily’s home studio based in Geelong and are one of a kind.
